Student Finance Guide

With students currently leaving University with an average debt of £25,000, it’s becoming evident that young adults are passing through the education system without being taught about one of life’s most important issues – money. Unfortunately, Britain does not operate under a resource-based economy system, and therefore money is of vital importance to our everyday lives.
The Student Finance Guide aims to provide guidance on how to stay out of debt whilst at University by offering unique articles on a vast array of financial and money saving topics. For many undergraduate students, University will be the first time that they’ve had to take control of their own money.
It is therefore of the utmost importance that students don’t get careless with their money. This means that you should be reading and learning about money and money management well in advance before you arrive at University. For starters, I’d advise you to read our articles on student budgeting, student bank accounts, student credit cards, and what things cost at University.
